The current activities of STEQEP include free workshops for teachers, seminars and workshops for students, and a free mini-library with internet access. These workshops and seminars are designed to help teachers and students stay up-to-date with the latest developments in science and technology, while the mini-library provides students with access to a wealth of resources to help them succeed in their studies.
In addition to these activities, STEQEP also places a strong emphasis on women’s skills development and education. The project recognizes the important role that women play in science and technology, and is committed to providing them with the education and training they need to succeed in these fields. By empowering women in science and technology, STEQEP is working to create a more diverse and inclusive workforce, one that will benefit everyone.
Primarily the activities of the project cover areas in the Sylhet division of Bangladesh which is expected to spread all over the country by the end of 2023.
